Building, experimenting, and using our imaginations — what more could we ask for? In our workshop, tamariki get to explore all of this while using tools, wood, and whatever else their hearts desire. It’s a wonderful opportunity to develop problem-solving skills, fine motor abilities, and spatial awareness. The best part? Tamariki not only create amazing things, but they also get to take their creations home, building a sense of pride and accomplishment in their work. This kind of hands-on, real-world learning connects with the Te Whāriki principles of Exploration and Contribution, helping tamariki develop confidence, creativity, and the ability to express themselves through their hands-on experiences
